Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026 · Effective: October 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Trace Your Name at traceyourname.com, provided by Scalability Data, Ltd Co (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information. The short version: the names you type never leave your device.

1. What We Collect: Nothing You Type

Trace Your Name creates worksheets entirely in your web browser, on your own device. The names, words, and other text you type, the options you choose, and the PDFs you download are never sent to us. We do not receive, record, store, sell, or share them, because they never leave your device.

When you close or reload the page, what you typed is gone.

2. No Accounts, No Cookies, No Tracking

  • There are no accounts, sign-ups, or logins.
  • We do not set cookies.
  • We do not use advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that identify you.
  • We do not sell or rent personal information, and we have none to sell.

3. Website Hosting

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any website host, Cloudflare automatically processes basic technical information that your browser sends when it loads a page, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. This is used to deliver the website and protect it from abuse and attacks. It never includes the text you type into the worksheet maker, because that text is not sent anywhere.

We do not use this technical information to identify you. Cloudflare’s handling of it is described in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

4. Children's Privacy

Trace Your Name is a tool for parents, guardians, and teachers helping children learn to write. We do not collect personal information from anyone, including children. A child’s name typed into the worksheet maker stays on the device it was typed on and is never sent to us.

5. If You Contact Us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to address your request, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we ever add a feature that collects information, such as anonymous, cookie-free usage counts or an optional email signup, we will update this policy before that feature goes live and describe exactly what is collected. We will never collect the text you type into the worksheet maker.

The “Last updated” date above shows when this policy last changed. See also our Terms and Conditions.
