Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 12, 2026 · Effective: October 12, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Trace Your Name at traceyourname.com, provided free of charge by Scalability Data, Ltd Co (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Purpose of the Service

Trace Your Name (the “Service”) is a free tool that creates printable handwriting practice worksheets. You type a name or word, choose a few options, and the Service produces a tracing sheet you can view, download as a PDF, and print. It is intended for personal, family, and classroom educational use.

2. Using and Printing Worksheets

You may print, copy, and share worksheets you create with the Service, free of charge, for personal, family, homeschool, and classroom use.

You may not sell worksheets made with the Service, or resell, repackage, or offer the Service itself as part of a paid product, without our prior written permission.

3. Your Text Stays on Your Device

Worksheets are created entirely in your web browser, on your own device. The names, words, and other text you type are never sent to us, and we do not receive, record, store, or review them. The PDF you download is also created on your device.

Because we never receive your text, we cannot recover, view, or delete it for you. It exists only on your device until you close or reload the page. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Acceptable Use

The Service is an educational tool for children’s handwriting practice. You agree not to use it to create:

  • Profane, obscene, vulgar, or sexually explicit content
  • Hateful, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory content
  • Content that is defamatory, or that targets or impersonates a real person or organization
  • Content that is unlawful or that infringes anyone else’s rights

You also agree not to interfere with or disrupt the Service, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or use automated means to access it in a way that places an unreasonable load on it.

We may block certain words or content from being rendered, and we may restrict access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms.

5. Your Responsibility for Content

You are solely responsible for the text you enter and for any worksheet you create, print, share, or publish. Because we never see what you type, we do not review, approve, or endorse any worksheet, and we are not responsible or liable for any content you create with the Service or for how it is used.

6. Who May Use the Service

The Service is intended for use by parents, guardians, teachers, and other adults helping children learn to write. Children should use the Service with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or teacher. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or are using it under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or teacher who agrees to these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Worksheets follow a common manuscript handwriting style, but we make no guarantee that they match any particular curriculum, school, or teacher’s requirements, or that they will produce any specific educational result.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scalability Data, Ltd Co and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, use, goodwill, or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scalability Data, Ltd Co and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from the content you create with the Service, your use or misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or anyone else’s rights.

10. Our Name, Logo, and Service

The Service, including its software, letter designs, and page layouts, and the names and logos of Trace Your Name and Scalability Data, are owned by Scalability Data, Ltd Co. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our names or logos. Worksheets you create may be used as described in Section 2.

12. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
